I cherish my memories of visiting Croatia, with the Sutivan promenade on Brac Island being one of my favorite spots. This enchanting place has a fascinating story about its restoration and transformation. It is an exceptional place of unmatched beauty and design where no detail has been overlooked.

On the property of the luxurious and award-winning Hotel Lemongarden (https://www.lemongardenhotel.com/en/is)  is the Gelateria Rosa. This pink-themed gelateria and patisserie offers a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes! I loved the charming, wide pink awning that provided shade while watching boats come and go in the harbor and was sure to include it!

When I set out to create putzes of the Sutivan promenade, I initially searched my phone for photos of the building facade but found none! I then turned to Google Maps Street View and, surprisingly, the most recent image available was from 2011. Clearly, the promenade has undergone a serious glow-up since then. I combined this old photo with my memories of the building to craft this little putz. Embracing the pink theme of Gelateria Rosa, I took some creative liberty and enhanced it with an extra touch of pink!

What a transformation from 2011!
